Translation Corner #12

Alright, now we're getting to the more interesting stuff. The next few keywords go into a lot of detail that was never brought to light in the series. Keep in mind that when Symphogear was originally airing, these keywords were added to the official site as they became relevant so viewers could get a better idea of all the things that were going on in the show. I'm sure this all relates back to the fact that in its early stages, Symphogear had a lot of details that they couldn't compress into a 13 episode series.

Translation Corner #11

Okay I'm going to try and push to get more keywords finished, especially since season 2 is coming up fast and who knows what sort of information might come into play that I haven't made available to you yet! Anyway, with what's on the blog so far I'm only 1/4th of way done so this will take time, but hopefully I can keep myself focused. All the comments and remarks I get on here or twitter are very inspiring so thanks to all you who keep reading.

Symphogear Manga: Chapter 6!

I'm pleased to announce that I've finished the first chapter of volume 2! As I've said before - scanning and translating takes forever, so I'm releasing individual chapters as I finish them. I will release a version with the whole volume when it's done and it will have some extras (notes, colored pages), so stay tuned for that.

In the meantime enjoy this chapter, which comprises of scenes from episodes 6 and 7 of the anime, and an original adventure where Hibiki and Miku go save a lost cat.

Various updates

Contest updates and a little teaser for volume 2 of the manga!

Plus an update to the Symphogear iphone app and ToyWars collaboration pics!

Putting a rumor to rest

For a long time there has been a rumor among the English-speaking Symphogear fandom that the show was originally planned as a 2 cour (26 episode) series, and the reason why the plot was so "rushed" in places was because they had to cut down the script in order to make it 1 cour (13 episodes). Today I'd like to take a moment and explain why this was never true and how it's been misinterpreted.

Announcing a Symphogear contest!

I'm having a small contest during our wait for Symphogear season 2! The prizes aren't anything big, but I have a few spare items that I'd like to give away to other fans. It will require some effort to enter, but I promise it's not anything too hard. In fact, it should be really fun!

Read on for the details!

They're here~!

The 2nd volume of the Symphogear manga is out and in my possession! As you can see I've got two copies, one of course is for debinding and scanning so I can share it with all you folks - but it will take time! If you're interested in owning your own copy please check out CDJapan!
